300 m²
The first flagship showroom of Maytoni light in Moscow offers customers and designers a new retail environment and an experience of interacting with a product that goes beyond the usual trade and exhibition function.
The heart of the project was the atrium — a community platform, a space for coworking, a place for presentations, training and inspiration. The project also had the task of being a convenient office for employees, an exhibition platform for an extensive assortment and a starting point for the design of all future brand spaces.
This is a very large program for an initial area of 300 sq. m. Therefore, the showroom’s planning solution is as multifunctional and thoughtful as possible. Even the evacuation staircase was involved, turning into a «secret» black exhibition as opposed to the main «white» staircase.
The window has a dedicated area with tables like in a city cafe for business meetings over a cup of coffee — an integral part of modern public space. By the way, the tables themselves are also multifunctional: they also work as lamps. They were specially designed by the Maytoni team together with the architect.
